My Profile

Hello, my name is Aaron and I am a 22-year-old TELF certified graduate, with a bachelor's degree in English Literature. I possess just over a year's experience teaching English, My students have primarily been within the 6-9 age range, though I am comfortable with any and all age groups. While my work has been mostly been from an online platform, I am confident that in my ability to translate those skills into a classroom or person-to-person context. Furthermore, my first language is English, which supplements my skills with the language— providing me with a native-level proficiency, along with a neutral-sounding accent.

I consider myself a highly capable ESL teacher, considering both my proficiency with the English Language, as well as my background as a multilingual speaker— the latter of which allows me a deeper understanding of the struggles second language learners. At a personal level, I believe myself to be a highly adaptable individual who enjoys experiencing and working within new cultures and environments.

Taking all of this into account, I can assure you that my classroom will be one that not only allows students to learn English, but also provides an environment that eases them into the language.
