High-pay Online CELT-P / CELT-S Trainer -250rmb/h

We run dedicated Teacher Training Academies in China’s biggest cities  offering an exciting spectrum of industry-standard teacher development courses with a number  of prestigious partners.  

Since New Oriental offers a wide range of courses and lessons for our students, our teachers’ needs are varied and specific as well, including trainings for general ELT, subject teaching (maths  and sciences), exam-prep, online teaching and so on.  Now we’re looking for online CELT-P / CELT-S trainers who are qualified and experienced teacher  trainers with a passion for delivering CELT-P/S training courses online; 

Job Description

Evaluating regular portfolio tasks (8 or 9 tasks per trainee) and providing feedback per trainee; 

Delivering weekly online Q&A sessions to a cohort of trainees;

Providing assessment of three videoed teaching practice per trainee per course;

supporting participants in their development and in completing the assessed components;

Delivering online trainer-led seminars if required.

(The total time commitment per participant is 12 to 13 hours; the maximum number of the participants for each course is 24.)  

Job Requirements

Currently approved tutors for CELTA, Delta or ICELT;

Strong interpersonal skills;

Experience in teaching and training using online platforms. If not, the trainers may also be accepted if they can demonstrate very strong evidence of English teacher training experience by submitting to Cambridge English:  

A CV outlining their English teaching and English teacher training experience

A plan of a teacher training session they have created and delivered to English language teachers 

A video of themselves delivering a teacher training session to English language teachers.
