 ABOUT 51TALK INTERNATIONAL NET (INET)

 51Talk International NET (INET) is the company’s program offering for international teachers. This line of business provides teaching opportunities to Native English-Speaking Teachers (NET) from different parts of the world. They teach courses to young and adult learners, and offer near-native level proficiency to all students. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for experienced teachers who love working with foreign students. 51Talk teachers love to make learning fun, and they bring excitement and energy to every lesson!

Here are our basic requirements:

●      University or college degree

●      Native English speaker

●      Experience teaching English to foreigners (ESL/EFL)

●      A teaching certificate, including state teaching certifications, TESOL, TEFL, etc. (preferred)

●      Availability to teach at least 7.5 hours per week (each lesson lasts 25 minutes) whenever you’re available during the following times:

○      7:00pm – 10:30pm Beijing Time (Monday to Friday)

○      9:00am – 10:30pm Beijing Time (Saturday to Sunday)

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED? 

All 51Talk classes are conducted as live, online, one-on-one lessons (we provide all the curriculum). You’ll need a few simple things to be eligible:

●      A laptop or desktop computer with a strong internet connection

●      A headset & webcam

●      A quiet, clutter-free, and well-lit space in your home

HOW MUCH CAN I EARN?

 We pay teachers according to the number of classes taught. All teachers are paid $10 per hour ($5 per 30-minute lesson). Kids’ group classes also let teachers earn as much as $9 per class and other incentives (if they pass the training for this special project). Teachers are paid through their choice of PayPal or bank transfer once a month for the previous month’s work.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers to supplement their income.
