Do your students need to learn to write in sentences? This resource makes writing in sentences easy! The appropriate words are all provided for describing what is happening in each picture. All students have to do is write them in the correct order. Capital letters and full stops are provided as clues to the first and last words. Guide lines are provided to help with the correct formation and positioning of letters. All sentences are written in the present continuous verb tense. This repetitive structure aids with the construction of the sentences. As a reward for writing the sentences correctly, students can either colour in the emoji or stick on a provided emoji in the box.

All young students will benefit from using this resource. It is particularly helpful for students who are learning English as an additional language. Word order can be problematic for students who are learning English and the illustrations help to build vocabulary and aid comprehension. For students who finish their work quickly, there is the option of colouring in the illustrations.

This resource could also be used as a homework task.
