My Profile

Hello, My name is Adam. I'm an ESL teacher and poet from Northwest Indiana just outside Chicago in the United States. I graduated valedictorian from Calumet College of St. Joseph with a degree in English and a minor in History. While at university, I earned the opportunity to study abroad. I travelled and studied in Austria, Germany, England, and Italy. In addition, I have travelled to Spain, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, and Philippines.  I received my 100 hour ESL/TESOL/TEFL certification from Oxford Seminars. Most of my work experience is in the hospitality industry. I worked for Comfort Inn of Hammond, Indiana. However, I thought English in Thailand to students aged 10-12. While in Thailand, I volunteered and thought conversational English to students aged 7-70. Currently, I tutor for ALO7.com. I enjoy ESL teaching because I am providing students with a skill they can use to better their future.
