Hello! My name is Aileen Grace Tapia, but all my friends call me "Ai". I am from Laguna, Philippines. I am 32 years old and  I have been teaching online English to learners from China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and Poland for almost 10 years now. 

Most of my students are young working adults from 20 to 30 years old, but once in a while I also encounter young learners from elementary to highschool, and also learners in their senior years who want to maintain their English abilities. 

Although my main job is teaching, me and my husband are also managing small business here and there, such as making and selling hand crafted items online, and suprvising our music rehearsal studio. When I'm not working, I spend my free time doing stuff that I like, such as watching English movies and tv shows, surfing the internet, and listening to music. 

As a university student, I majored in music, so I'm very much into it. At school, we were taught how to play the guitar, piano, and ukulele, but what I love most is singing. Aside from music, English is also one of my most favorite subjects, in fact, I think it is my favorite of all.

If you choose me as your English tutor, I will help you improve your English skills, specifically your grammar, pronunciation, and accent. I have many tips that I can share with you, and we can even practice together.

I do believe that online learning is a two way street, so I am also hoping to learn from you about your country's traditions and culture, which I have done so with my other Asian students.  I'm very excited to meet you and I hope to see you in my class soon.
