Boarding and Homeroom Tutor resposblities:

• To be resident every night of the week with provision for time off as outlined and to be responsible for the safety and welfare of the students in his/her care.

• To ensure that the students adhere to the rules and regulations of the College.

• With the Assistant Principal, Boarding and Pastoral Co-ordinators, ensure that all College procedures with reference to exeats are adhered to and the whereabouts of each student is known.

• To ensure that health and safety procedures are observed in areas for which he/she is responsible.

• To ensure a reasonable standard of tidiness in the students’ rooms and in the accommodation as a whole.

• To undertake various medical duties in keeping with the role of resident tutor.

• To participate in student induction.

• To contribute to the provision of personal, social and health education (PSHE).

• To take an active interest in the personal development and academic progress of the students in his/her care, acting as a personal tutor.
