About Me
Introduction:
Hello. My name is Brittany Mitchell. I am from East London, South Africa and I am 23 years old. I studied at Clarendon Girls High School and I have qualified as a TESOL teacher through ITTI South Africa. I am currently looking for an online teaching position.
I have been au pairing and tutoring children from the age of 2, right up until the age of 16, for the last 4 years. This is where I discovered my passion for children and for teaching. I find it extremely rewarding being able to teach the children of tomorrow, and help them learn, enabling them to have a brighter future.
I am constantly smiling and I have a super bubbly personality. My lessons always fun & interactive. They offer a variety of different materials and tasks, captivating the students interest and maintaining their focus. I am very outgoing and I have a special way of creating a bond with the children I teach, and I still maintain relationships with majority of my past learners to this day.
I love to travel and explore the world. I enjoy open water scuba diving in my free time, as well as hiking and finding waterfalls. I love spending most of my time outdoors and in nature, and that is why I have chosen to find an online teaching position where my classroom can be anywhere with a clear backdrop and a strong wifi connection.
