Joinville, March 2018.
Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I am applying for the English Teacher position because I am looking to broaden my experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language, after having achieved a TESOL certificate at TEFL International Tokyo.
I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults of all ages, levels and abilities while I was teaching for Phil Young’s English School in Curitiba, Brazil from 2005 to 2013. I am seeking a career that will allow me to continue teaching English as a foreign language and working with people in many different ways, as well as experiencing a culture exchange. I hope you will find that I am qualified for the position you are trying to fill.
I am very reliabe, patient and easygoing, and have special abilities with children in early ages, being a mother, myself. My hobbies include traveling, reading, listening to music, playing with my son, James and watching cartoons and videos with him in English, as I am raising him bilingual.
If I can provide you with any further information on my background and qualifications, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you. I can be reached via email and FaceTime at clarissanascimento@me.com.
Sincerely,
Clarissa Nascimento
