Hi!
I'm Craig and I am an ESL teacher with over 3 years teaching experience in the following areas:
I am a native English speaker from Ireland. But don't worry, my accent isn't very strong after so many years of travelling and meeting different nationalities my accent has become neutralized or even slightly Americanized.
I am looking for in-class work overseas in language schools, public schools, kindergartens etc.
I like to plan fun and informative English lessons that cater to the needs of my students. I have experience from teaching beginner to advanced and general conversation to business English.
I hold a current TESOL 120 hour teaching certificate and I hold a Bachelors Degree in International Business.
Please feel free to contact me if you feel like I fit the profile that you're searching for.
Kind Regards,
Craig Ryan

RILCO Roofing & Cladding Materials
January 2018 to Current
Sales and customer support for a roofing and cladding materials company. My main responsibilities are to source new clients to provide professional and unbiased advice regarding upcoming building projects. I also deal with recurring customers, advertise new product launches/sales campaigns and promote the business through our social media platforms. My hours have recently been cut due to a quiet period for the business so I am taking the time to transition back towards a teaching career as it is more satisfying to me than my current position.
New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Europe.
October 2015 to January 2018
I spent over two years backpacking around mostly New Zealand and Australia with visits to Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, France and Spain. My main sources of income came from farming, construction and hospitality. I would find work by word of mouth or online.
Montijo Official Language School
September 2012 to May 2013
I spent one academic year working in Montijo in Southern Spain directly after graduating from college. My students ranged from 16-65 years old and from beginners to advanced levels. My responsibilities included lesson planning, interacting with large class numbers, leading activities, encouraging a positive and energetic approach to learning English, helping students one-on-one before exams and correcting exams. As a native speaker I also provided suggestions to the faculty regarding anything I would improve on from my perspective. This still remains one of the most positive and happiest experiences of my life.
