Hi Everyone

My name is Teacher Crystal ‍ but you can call me Teacher C

I'm 23 years old and I live in Durban South Africa

We have 11 official languages. I am a native English speaker and I am currently learning Afrikaans and Spanish as a second language.

I have completed my GA Level 3 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language ️. I am also working towards my Bachelors Degree in Human and Social Sciences at the University of South Africa ‍.Working in part time jobs has resulted in me being punctual, organized and comfortable working as a team player or on my own. Over the last 5 years I have voluntarily tutored children between the ages of 6-12 years old once a week at my local church. Furthermore I was previously employed as a Kids Attendant at Virgin Active where I got to interact and engage with children between the ages of 4-8. I have found that working with kids has taught me to be patient and given me the skills to interact at their level.

I use the TPR method, Total Physical Response, as I believe it makes the class fun and engaging. I want to help students grow and be able to speak English more fluently. I am a fun, active, encouraging and supportive teacher.
