Hello,

My name is Danijela, I am 25 years old and I am from Belgrade, Serbia. I was born and raised in Belgrade but I have been studying English my whole life, since I was 4 years old. I am a Serbian native speaker but my knowledge in English and Italian is in the same level as native speakers. Languages have always been a passion of mine and English in particular. In high school, Japanese was my major language and English the second one. And now at University of Belgrade I am a part of the Faculty of Philology and my major are Italian studies covering Italian language, literature and culture and also English studies covering all the same categories. I recently acquired TEFL English teaching certificate from the TEFL Professional Development Institute. I have also lived in the United States for 7 months in 2015. where I was a part of an exchange program for students, so I studied English there and also worked for several different employers. Living in the United States definitely helped me improve my English skills significantly. It also made me very independent and aware of time management. I consider myself hardworking, realiable, flexible and easy going as well. I have been tutoring since I was 19 years old. I first started tutoring middle school and high school kids English as a self-employed tutor and then this year I spent a few months tutoring online. Tutoring has given me a lot of good moments, when someone I teach passes an exam or a test it gives me so much joy and pleasure. It is a great feeling to know that I was a part of their success and that I contributed to their growth. I would like for this to continue and I want to advance more doing this job.
