Good day!

My name is Grace Amparado Urbano, 43 years old and married. I graduated from the Philippine Normal University-Manila with a degree in AB Psychology way back in 1996. I also took up Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling in Tomas Claudio Memorial College here in Rizal province. I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers last 2002, major in English and Lietrature. I have two (2) Language Certifications, IELTS and TEFL.

I have a wide experience when it comes to teaching kids and having a Bachelor’s Degree in AB Psychology and Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling is an advantage already when it comes to dealing with their emotional, psychological and physiological aspects. It would be easy for me to use different teaching strategies and techniques like how to get their attention when not listening, how to teach difficult vocabulary words without compromising their self-esteem and even singing songs while learning! For me, teaching English as a second language must be fun and exciting, especially when it comes to very young learners. As an ESL Trainer also, I always tell the teacher-trainees that teaching kids should be your passion – not only it would require you to exert effort and energy but because they can also sense your sincerity and love for them. 

Now, it is my goal to apply and combine my range of experiences with my ability to explore another culture and firmly believe that your school will give me this chance to do so.
