in the workforce ranging from sales and marketing, financial planning, management
and teaching English. Leadership is my core strength, which has delivered tangible

My professional achievements include winning the Old Mutual

biggest online English teaching platform based in Vietnam. TOPICA's students are mainly from Vietnam and the Philippines. I teach
beginner and advanced learners English via an online platform. We engage in
interesting and stimulating discussions around the various topics that the
lessons revolve around.
My responsibilities include:
Conducting
stimulating online classes of up to 6 students, with precise punctuality, while
following a lesson plan and adding additional information to the lesson.
Engaging students in
interesting discussions, while correcting their grammar and pronunciation,
enhancing their vocabulary and providing critical feedback to each individual
student at the end of the lesson.
AMA Language Center, Da Nang, Vietnam

AMA is an American Language Center franchise in Vietnam,
which has a majority stake in the Vietnamese market for language study. AMA
caters to students from as little as three years old to
adults. With AMA, I have seen my learners graduate from shy,
reluctant speakers who could barely speak a full sentence in English, to
enthusiastic, confident and eager English speakers. I’ve taught all levels of
English speakers ranging from kindergarten, young kids, pre-teens, teens and
adults, and focused my efforts on Communicative English, Kindergarten, and
IELTS exam preparation.
My responsibilities
include:
Creating fun, innovative and engaging lesson plans,
PowerPoint presentations and worksheets to be used in conjunction with the
study material provided by AMA, in order enhance students listening, speaking
and writing skill in English.
Guiding and
supporting learners through the study material, while actively engaging and
motivating them. Correcting their pronunciation, grammar, notation and
enhancing their speaking, listening and writing skills.
Conducting parent-

Simble is a corporate technology company with a branch in
Vietnam and its headquarters in Australia. At Simble, I teach Vietnamese
employees the skilful use of the English language for successful relationship
building in the business world. I believe that speaking English effectively in
the workplace is a skill and my syllabus covers lessons which provide my
clients with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to transition
non-native English speakers into an English speaking corporate environment. Since
working with Simble, I’ve boosted the confidence of my students, as well as

Blossom Beauty
Princess Foundation is an NGO which was set up to fund the needs of girls from
disadvantaged backgrounds in South Africa. The history of discrimination in
South Africa led to a huge need for volunteers of all skill-sets in certain
areas of the country. With Blossom Beauty, I volunteered my time on a part-time
basis for two years, teaching English in primary and secondary schools during
the evenings and over the weekends.
My responsibilities included:
Tutoring learners to
build up their skills in English in terms of grammar, creative writing,
literature, reading and speaking.
Helping learners
with homework and reviewing work that they did not fully understand.
