Hello!
My name is Katrina Marie Broome. I am currently attending school at the Utah Valley University, where I get to practice skills as a dance educator and student. I have nearly 2 years prior toward graduating with my BS in Dance Education.
Next to my studies, I guide meditative movement classes within the Salt Lake City Ecstatic Dance Community. This is where I guide movers toward individuality and self exploration. In my classes I introduce ways to integrate the Mind-Body and Spirit through dance.
Exploring dance through different realms has inspired me to respect the use of language in all of its forms. I not only want to share my experiences of good health with others. I desire the ability to listen to new people. I strive to learn more about the world I live in, and appreciate all who share it with me.
By offering guidance in English as a second language, I find myself curious as to how humanity can understand one another in an emotional and intellectual way.
Dance has showed me the importance of language throughout cultures. I believe we as people need to be heard, seen, and felt. It is rewarding to allow the use of multiple languages to be shared and experienced between cultures.
Thanks for pausing to read my letter.

Starbucks delivered me training through online modules and physical experiences. I have been positioned to craft drinks on bar, engage in conversations and friendships through drive-thru and lobby customers, as well as keep the floor clean and stocked for my partners flow. I have learned patience, speed, preparation, and commitment while working at Starbucks. I have learned to build meaningful relationships with other workers and customers. I have enjoyed my time learning consistency when it comes to being a helping hand. I have practiced creating a warm environment to influence my community to receive the Starbucks Experience.
