Kinglee High School is an International Boarding Exchange School located in Zhengzhou, China. Our student body is comprised of English-speaking Chinese students and exchange students from the United States. Our staff and administrators from the United States, UK, and Canada work together as a team to create school policies, curriculum guidelines, and establish a positive school climate. We are a 1 to 1 school that uses iPad and iBooks as academic tools while delivering all instruction in English. While remaining well versed in current academic trends, Kinglee staff members mold their own instructional methods and make individualized decisions regarding best teaching practices and techniques through cross-curricular themes and staff collaboration. We provide professional development opportunities including local and global educational summits. Our students strive to obtain acceptance into colleges in the United States, Canada, and Europe. We work with PowerSchool SIS program as well as Turnitin.com for academic success.
Elementary international classes are part of a unique program that provides students with an American curriculum taught entirely in English. The focus and design of the classroom is to foster growth and creativity while teaching using American curriculum for English, math, science, and social studies. A strong emphasis on the English language and character building is at the heart our American curriculum. Students are encouraged to learn through exploration, inquiry, and imagination. When they are challenged in a positive instructional environment, the students demonstrate exceptional growth and offer great insight into the world around them.
