The nature of my work in education has prepared me for this position. My interests in seeing learners succeed stimulated me to lead a project on teaching English on Saturdays. My role here was to impact skills to them on the use of language. As part of this, I had to liaise with parents and other colleagues meaning that I have developed skills in dealing with people of different calibers. I faced some challenges along the way, such as uncooperative parents and overcame them by having one on one talk with them to explain the importance of my project. The impact of the project overall was amazing. This was measured by having lots of learners passing and developing the love for the language.
In addition, I have successfully employed teaching with technology approach when teaching and found that this led to many positive student outcomes, such as great understanding of concepts was noted. A key part of my career is helping students reach their potential, which I work towards by focusing on student centered method when teaching. As if that is not enough I believe in holistically empowering learners hence I took it upon myself to create teams in different sporting codes so as to unleash their talents as well as do what I love while at it.
