To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Paymaan Dinavari, and I am a U.S. citizen with teaching and tutoring experience in North America, the Middle East, and South-East Asia. I've tutored international students preparing for their IELTS and TOEFL exams in Canada, Iran, and Vietnam. I have also been teaching for over 2- 1/2 years as a full-time English instructor at Apollo English in Hanoi, Vietnam. I'm currently teaching online English courses to Chinese students in Henan province, China.

In this capacity, I've taught General English classes, 1 to 1 Business English classes, delivered Corporate English lessons for larger groups and conducted the speaking portion of the IELTS mock exam several times. I've also conducted over 100-hours of placement tests, having interviewed over 500 candidates.

In the Summer of 2016, I received the Advanced Level-Two, TESL Ontario, TESL Canada diploma. This diploma program entailed 280-hours of coursework over a 4-month period. It also included 30-hours teacher observation and 20-hours of being observed by accredited teachers. Before teaching ESL, I worked as a design architect and a project architect in the Washington DC metropolitan area for over 15 years.
