About Me
Introduction:
I am a TESOL certified teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in English from California State University Chico (CSUC) where I graduated with the highest honors, summa cum laude. I have two years experience tutoring ESL students at CSUC's ESL Resource Center where I also planned and lead weekly English conversation hour events. I completed a summer internship at Sagami Women's University in Japan, where I observed and taught English classes. I may be from America, but my heart is international. I spent eight years in Japan as a child and I have traveled all my life. I also have experience teaching children, as I have volunteered at a private school for six years as a substitute teacher, physical education teacher, and a writing coach.
