About Me
Introduction:
I am passionate about teaching and helping people develop
and progress. I have been teaching since 2013 when I started in a local school
in Brazil. I have experience in teaching English as a foreign language to
different ages and levels. I taught early years, teens and adults since
beginner to advanced level.
I love learning and finding ways of teaching that
knowledge in the best way possible. I am also a very creative person and I love
teaching because you always need to prepare different classes and make it
interesting. I am patient with people and I take my time to understand
students´ needs and their own pace. I am very communicative and I like to meet
different people. I like talking to people and get to know them and their own
stories.
I can easily adapt as I have lived in three different
countries so far and I love it. I really enjoy being in a different culture
because I can learn new ways of living life and their people.
I am now seeking the opportunity to utilise my TEFL
qualification, teaching to develop my career and working in something I believe
in.

Founder of Get English LTD a business that provides English classes online, CV writing and interview preparation; All services are provided online after an initial meeting were we discuss the student needs and objectives. We assess the student English level and with their needs in mind we plan the lessons and the work needed to achieve the objectives; Assisting students in a one to one basis with their English needs. All lessons are prepared accordingly to the student level and need. Lessons provided to students of all levels; Organising lessons and activities to keep students motivated and involved with the English language; Conducting analysis of students’ feedback to improve the service.

My core duty was to teach English to students since beginners to advanced level and all ages. Students started at this school with 3 years old up to any age. I was responsible for: Lesson preparation on a daily basis with the books given for each level but also preparing activities and games to keep students motivated and involved with the language; TEFL methodology used in the school with 100% of the language used inside the school being English so students can maximise their experience with the language; Ensuring students understood the lesson content and spent time with them after the class to go through homework and questions they had; Development of after class clubs with students taking charge of the club content. Every month we had a different theme and the students will prepare in groups a presentation for the school; Managing school events such as Cooking Class, Spelling Game and Sleep Over to get students involved. Planning and organisation of events every three months.
