Business Profile

The Leadership Center is the primary project of Leadership Mission International. The mission of The Leadership Center is to empower women from poor families to become the next generation of ethical leaders in Honduras. Through the empowerment of women, many families and communities will experience significant change from the influence of ethical leaders. The primary way that the organization helps our graduates become individuals of influence is through supporting them in entrepreneurial and business endeavors.

The Leadership Center is located in central, rural Honduras, between one and two hours from the capitol city of Tegucigalpa. For security issues, we only provide directions and an exact address to staff members, volunteers, and individuals or teams who plan to visit the center.

The First year of classes is full of ESL, 4 classes classes of English M-F. . The second year is full of Liberal Arts classes such as Research & Writing, Science and Health, Mathematics, Speech & Communications, Leadership & Community Development, etc..   The third year is focused on Business and Education classes, with individualized internships to help our students gain experience in the business, education, or non-profit fields.

The staff and students live on the TLC campus, so we do everything together :)  We share our meals together, play soccer, work together each morning, do community projects, and learn and grow TOGETHER!
