Position: Full-time English Teacher for Elementary School

Eligibility:

-Be a citizen of a country where English is the first language based on visa eligibility of Yantai Immigration Law

-Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

-2 year career as a full-time English teacher(preferred)

Salary Offered(before tax):

-Get paid during summer and winter break

-basic salary: 11,000RMB per month(132,000RMB per year)

-Either 500RMB for teacher certification or 300RMB for TESOL or TEFL(over 60hrs)

-Completion bonus: amount of the basic salary

-Experience and qualification remuneration based on the established school scale will be added to the basic salary(0~1,000RMB)

-Yearly incentive bonus based on performance

-For applicants from overseas a one-way flight ticket(economy) is provided

-School lunch and a commuter bus is provided for free from a certain location

-Salary could be going up next year depending on the school board's opinion

Preferred:

-Education degree, Teaching license, Certification in subject areas

Position Description:

-Contract Period: March 1, 2019~February 28, 2020

-Working Days: Monday~Friday(working regulation is equally applied to Korean and foreign teachers during Summer vacation(30days) and winter vacation(50days)

-Teaching Hours: 20 teaching hours a week, one teaching hour is 40 minutes

-Working Hours: 8:30am~4:30pm

The Term of Contract: one-year probationary contract with the possibility of renewal

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

-Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences

-Observe and evaluate student performance and development

-Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary system of the school

-Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, and extry English activities

-Participate in department and parent meetings

-Cooperate with fellow teachers, assistants, and other professionals

-Willing to participate in after school classes(held within school hours, 2~4 times a week withe additional pay, 80minutes=300RMB)
