Teach in Quang Ngai City, Vietnam

Start Date: Monday, February 15, 2017 (earlier start date possible)

WE SEEK
A native speaker of English who is committed to teaching in a student-centered, communicative language program.

WE OFFER
Salary: USD 900 ~ 1200 per month (paid in VND), depending on qualifications.

Direct Benefits: Work visa and work permit; furnished housing (single dorm-style room with communal kitchen and laundry facilities; shared bathrooms on each floor); national holidays; two-week break at Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (with partial pay).

Indirect Benefits: Quiet community, low cost of living, off the beaten path, near to beaches and mountains. There is an extra week off usually in June (but it is unpaid).

Schedule: Full-time, six days a week, 30 hours a week.

Students: 6~16 years old in classes ranging from 10 ~ 16 students.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Native speaker (NS) or near-native speaker (NNS) with excellent command of the language.
Bachelor̢��‰�s degree (BA/BSc) taught entirely in English.
TEFL/TESL Certificate.
Clean criminal background check.
Passport valid for at least 16 months.

PREFERENCE GIVEN TO
Speakers of English from nations where English is an official language (by practice or by law) and where it is the language of secondary and tertiary education; you should have a teaching knowledge of grammar and standard pronunciation.
Holders of a CELTA or TESOL Certificate or an MA in TESOL or equivalent with observed teaching.
Those experienced in student-centered, communicative language teaching.
Holders of a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Those having other professional teaching certification or specialised knowledge, e.g. knowledge of learning disabilities.
Those who have lived abroad for a year or more.
