Description

We are looking for paid English-native teachers who want to live and work in China for at least 1 semester(6 months), especially for students who want to practice Chinese or gain experience as English teachers in one of China’s many public or private schools is welcome. 

In Brief:

-Usually those accepted will teach no more than twenty-one class periods per week.    

-Paid holidays (except for winter and summer vacation. We usually have holidays almost every month in China). Those assigned to an international school will likely also have a paid Christmas vacation. Usually you only need to work for about 180 days a year if you work for public school.  

-No experience is necessary (depending on working hours and schools, the average salary of the first year is 5000-10,000 RMB, $800-1,500), but those with experience (or for those who stay here for more than a year) or a teacher’s license are qualified for a higher salary (up to 16,000 RMB, $2,460 per month). 

-Those accepted will be placed in a furnished apartment. Rent will be covered by either the school of employment or us.

-These accepted will receive flight reimbursement at the end of their contract depending on the length of the contract.

-Insurance will be provided for the duration of your time in China.

-NO EXTRA CHARGE: Translations and other services will also be provided for the duration of your time in China. Every teacher can get 1 on 1 service. Our phones will always be on, so please don’t be shy to call us. (In China, the best way to contact us is wechat, which is an awesome app for messaging, but of course email is also fine)

Requirements:

-Applicants must be willing to work and live in China for the contracted period of time. (But if there’s anything emergency happened, you can go back.)

-Applicants should be in good health and have no criminal background.

-Applicants must submit a scanned copy of their passport, a resume with cover letter and a scanned copy of their diploma.

-Length of contract is negotiable; those who wish to stay in China for longer are certainly welcome!
