This easy to use resource encourages students to research for information , on the Internet, in books or through discussion with peers. Circling answers or providing answers in one word or a few words make it user friendly particularly for students who are learning English as an Additional Language but it is also useful for all students. Students will expand their horizons and general knowledge by learning some basic facts about the five countries. There are line drawings of male and female characters for the five countries. After successful completion of the worksheets, students could then colour the characters.

This resource could be used by students who finish work early or by all as a means of learning how to research, gain and record information. Developing this skill at an early stage will be particularly beneficial in later years.
