Your students will enjoy creating and revealing colourful surprise pictures. If you have young students who are new to English, this resource provides a very useful, purposeful, relaxing task which can be easily successfully completed by using the reference sheets. This achievement will help the EAL student to build confidence. Colour by number provides an engaging way for all your young students to read number words, identify the numbers (0 – 20) and colour according to the code. There are six different forms of transport. Each picture has two forms. One has the colour words written in colour and the other has the colour words written in black beside a small square showing the correct colour to be used.

The pictures to be completed are a hot air balloon, an aeroplane, a helicopter, a train, a boat and a tractor.
