VoCards Vocabulary Practice Game
Posted by Ahmad - 11 Nov. 2017 - Classroom Materials

VoCards are designed by language teachers for language teachers. The cards bring unlimited fun to the classroom while learning/introducing/reviewing the vocabulary of a unit/course.

What is meant by 4 levels?
From our experience, some learners can express more than others. Thus, if you have a weak class you can plan with VoCards at level 1, which means they CANNOT use only the word in the first box (lv1). If your learners are a bit stronger, you might play on at level 2, which means they CANNOT use the words in the first and second boxes (lv1 and lv2), and so on. We found the idea really useful because some students were asking to play with the cards, but would find it really difficult to say anything. So, the idea came up, and now all learners can enjoy the game!

About the vocabulary
We use CEFR classification of vocabulary when choosing the words. On the left corner of every VoCard you will find the level of the word A1-C2. The cards will be of great benefit if you are preparing your learners to any Cambridge ESOL Exams.
