My Profile

My name is Alicia Connolly, a 26 year old woman from Gaborone, Botswana. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University as well international travel experience and a vast family tree to thank for my multi-cultural background. I am currently managing an audio engineering space as Music is one of my passions.

I have a great passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring - teaching is second nature to me as a result of that. I also have 2 years teaching experience with children from the ages 3 - 17. I have taught Conversational English, Basic Adding and Subtracting, Acting as well as Life Skills for a private arts and recreational facility as well as for an orphanage as part of my personal community building and social impact intiatives. 

Ideally, I wish to become an Early Childhood Development teacher with a speciality in Counselling for all ages. 

My goal is to positively impact and empower each children I come across and to learn more on how best to teach to individuals in a group setting, ensuring that everyone is taught at their level and preference. 

Spain is the perfect country to begin my formal teaching journey as I not only get a chance to immerse myself in a new culture, but I get to brush up on my Spanish language and challenge myself outside of my initial experiences and comfort. Spain is a beautiful country and the weather is perfect.
