Hello! My name is Alicia Davis and I'm looking for my next adventure! After teaching for two years in South Korea (2013-2014), I decided to come back to the states to see my family and reconnect with friends and family here in Indianapolis. However, the need to experience and explore has caught me wrestling in my sleep and craving a new adventure abroad!
I received a 160-hour online TEFL certificate in 2014 before starting my second year in South Korea. While there I taught various ages. My first year I taught elementary at three different school and an adult all women's class. My second year in Daejeon I taught preschool, kindergarten, and elementary. Teaching the babies was the most rewarding and trying of my teaching experience. There was a lot of singing, laughs, learning and many bottles of hand sanitizer.
In my free time, I love seeing the sites, but I'm a big foodie at heart. Food Culture is one of my favorite things about visiting a new location. I look forward to experiencing, learning and growing with you and your students!

Boston Campus Institute
May 2014 to May 2015
At Boston Campus, my position consisted of leading English lessons and cooking classes with my preschool and kindergarten students, as well as instructing elementary and middle school students in their conversational English. This school was top notch and put extra time and care into the learning of their young ones.
EZ English
April 2013 to April 2014
MY positIon at EZ English and working for the owners, was ever changing and filled with challenges, but also a great deal of learning and new experiences that have shaped me. While working for the owners I worked at EZ, a Seoil institute, at one of the owners sisters and also I tutored a young girl once a week. I had a very different experience than other teachers, working at multiple locations and working with so many more students in one year than usual. However, I would not have traded the experience for anything in the world.
