I am a young professional with a desire to promote student success. In 2016, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration on Latin American and Caribbean Studies. During my studies, I took an interest in linguistics courses. As a result, I decided to enroll in quite a few, including several that were taught in Spanish. I continuously strive to improve my Spanish, having studied it in the classroom for seven years, and then significantly expanding my fluency by attending ITESO University in Guadalajara, Mexico for a semester. Additionally, I have experience with leading a small student organization which consisted of members from different nationalities, many of whom did not claim English as their first language. My most recent job experience was working as a Paralegal at a law firm, where I was entrusted to handle protected health information and where I solidified many professional skills. Recently, I decided to take the TESOl Certification course through UniPrep in order to use my skills in a new way, and start Teaching English as a second language. I believe teaching English is an extremely rewarding career, as I feel it is the most valuable tool that I could give to another person, and I am excited to start this new journey.

Greeted clients with friendly demeanor. Assisted with paperwork and promptly notified the attorney of clients’ arrival. Professionally handled high volume of incoming calls by assisting callers and directing them to appropriate extensions. Addressed and responded to all incoming emails, faxes, and mail; including scanning them in and filing appropriately. Scheduled client appointments, lunches and professional meetings. Called each one to confirm the day before. Followed up with attorneys to pursue referral fees that would have otherwise been overlooked, resulting in hundreds of extra dollars each month for the firm. Oversaw direct advertisement by maintaining the outdoor LED sign and keeping track of all promotional purchases. Accounted for all costs associated with records requesting and postage, by keeping track on a spreadsheet. Kept conference rooms and reception area tidy and well stocked. Maintained all office supplies by taking weekly inventory and completing online orders. https://www.frankdicosola.com/bonnie-walter/
