About Me
Introduction:
Hi there, I’m Carrey!
I am a CELTA/Trinity experienced teacher, teaching Business English, IELTS and other English courses to students from various age groups and levels.
I have my Bachelors Degree in Journalism, and am currently completing my second degree in Communication Science. I also hold a Teaching Diploma and TEFL Certification, both passed with distinctions. I’m always looking for new and exciting courses to occupy my time, and to stay up-to-date with current trends.
After several years in the Marketing and Media Industry, I decided to change my career and to complete my TEFL course in Koh Samui, Thailand. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to have lived and taught throughout Asia. I’ve fallen in love with online teaching, as it’s afforded me opportunities to work and travel extensively throughout many countries, as well as experience various different cultures and countries too. My plan is to move to Europe in the coming months, and to see what the future holds from there.
I’m easy-going, and prefer to adapt lessons to each individual students goals and needs. I love art, poetry and literature, as well as sailing. I hope to have my own vessel one day, and to continue to feed my adventurous soul.
