About Me
Introduction:
I've recently moved from Boston, in the United States, to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with my wife and three-year-old daughter. Another little daughter was born here a few weeks ago.
I've had a career in management for some years and now I write and do consulting for a few firms in the United States. I'm looking for another rewarding source of income where I can work with people rather than remotely. Teaching English seemed to provide that opportunity and I have just completed a TESOL Certification Course (Certificate en Route).
I earned a Masters Degree in Management from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA in 2010
I am studying Vietnamese now, so I am aware of the challenges of learning a new language, especially for adults. I speak and write in English at a very high level yet, with a young daughter learning to speak, read and write English - and now Vietnamese - I also understand the needs of children when trying to learn. I also see the challenges for someone trying teaching to that audience.
I live in Vietnam permanently now and I'm interested in a long relationship with a school or students, rather than a few months just to pay my way while I travel, as many others do. If that is a match for what you are offering I would be deeply interested in speaking with you.
