David Alkire is an avid musician, educator, and entrepreneur. He is the youngest of three rambunctious boys. Raised in Greeley, Colorado, he was exposed to chicano culture from an early age. He speaks Spanish fluently, loves to ski and play basketball, is a classically trained vocalist and also plays piano, guitar, harmonica, and drums. He has performed on stage in plays, musicals, and concerts from a young age. He is a fully licensed insurance agent with Farmers for his day job and he teaches private music lessons out of his home for supplemental income. He loves going out on the town, socializing, dancing, travel, cooking, video games, his cat, and considers himself deeply spiritual and accepting of others, no matter what their race, gender, religion, or orientation.
