My Profile

I am a Certified TESOL Instructor, with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (University of the People) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design (New School University, Parsons School of Design).  

Recently, I worked as an ESL Instructor in Osaka, Japan; teaching Business English and conversational English to adults, teenagers and children in a Language School in one-to-one and online situations. My role as an ESL Instructor is to get the student to oral and written competency. This therefore includes, but is not limited to, speech coaching for oral presentations (business and academic), as well as editing papers that have been translated from Japanese to English. I am also experienced in preparing students for TOEIC examinations for college entrance. 

For over 10 years, I have also reviewed and edited thesis proposals and completed dissertations in a professional consulting capacity. I am skilled in assisting in idea conception, research development, visual aids, statistical data gathering, compilation and analysis, hypothesis objective and expansion, and meeting proper citation requirements. Ensuring correct grammar and sentence structure are also necessary in the services I provide.  

My love for writing has afforded me the opportunity of becoming a published author of several novels, a business book and a short chapter children’s book for ages 8 to 12. I also have online writing experience for blogs, newsletters, online news, web content, and have participated in the digital and print publication of a quarterly book review magazine.
