Introduction:

I have experience in working with learners from different cultural, societal and economic backgrounds (teaching grade 2s and 3s). I have a SA permanent residence permit and a SA ID. My personal attributes include the following (but not limited to):

- Computer literacy (MS Office; Excel; database, MS Power-point, MS Word).

- Attention to detail.

- Deadline driven.

- Have a commitment to service excellence.

- The ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.

- Have excellent numeracy skills and language skills.

- Have a readiness and temperament to work closely within a team, and equally being able to work independently. 

- Passionate about extra-murals activities.

I am a motivated and driven individual who wants to step out of his comfort zone and explore what the world has to offer. I want to experience what other cultures and ethnicities can teach and offer, and I am willing to work hard to achieve all the goals I have set for myself as well as those set out for me.

I volunteered to teach at a reading camp for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It was a one week camp where I was tasked with teaching phonics to the learners with each group consisting of about 6 - 8 children. I also helped with the IT issues with the camp when ever I was needed.
