My Profile

My name is Erin Smith. I'm 23 years old. Love to travel, experience new cultures and learn and interact with new people. 

I have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Classical Civilizations from DePauw University. 

I baby sit for a family and their 3 kids, ages 1, 4, and 6. I also volunteer at a local museum/historical complex by giving tours of a Victorian Era house and assisting at the front desk. 

I have both domestic and international travel under my belt. I have been to Italy, China, Thailand, and Vietnam before.

I might not have teaching experience per the normal definitions, but my background in retail, customer service, as a docent, and babysitter have allowed me to develop my customer service and awareness skills, as well as my challenged and developed my ability to adapt and think on my toes. I have a good attention to detail and am very passionate about the things I do and plan to do in life. Teaching is something I have always wanted to do, and see myself doing in the future too.
