My Profile

My name is Fradreika Wilson. I am an Online ESL Instructor and Substitute Teacher from Ohio, of the United States. I am a student at Cornerstone University pursuing a Master of Arts in TESOL degree. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. I have a 120 hours TESOL Certification from International Open Academy. I homeschool my children (aged 4 and 7) with Writing, Reading, and Math. I’ve taught children and adults from all over the world online for almost two years. Becoming an ESL teacher has been a rewarding experience.

I love to teach, especially teaching English. Support and compassion are my greatest attributes. I am an educator because I want to make a positive impact on the world. I want to be a blessing to others. In each of my previous job experiences, I have performed my assignments with a high degree of skill and professionalism. My current objective is to obtain a position that will fully utilize my skills and offer an opportunity for continued professional growth. I believe in excellence and have always dedicated myself, my talents and my creative abilities to assure the successful accomplishment of any company goals.

My positive attitude and willingness to give 150% makes me an asset  I know how valuable encouragement and motivation is for the student. I intend to stimulate students teaching them to be optimistic during challenges. As an ESL Teacher, I encourage students to cherish their language and culture, while developing an appreciation for English. 

Additionally, I strive for impeccable Conversational English as well as help others develop the skills they need for writing and reading. I believe it is also important to help others develop their social and interaction skills. Creating a classroom that is a safe learning environment for all is my goal. The students must know that they are welcomed no matter their background or history. Learning is a process that requires motivation, effort, and persistence through many hurdles. I am here to aid others through those hurdles and develop independence to face the learning difficulties of English as their second language. I will always provide positive reinforcement to build confidence.
