Hi,

Nice to meet you. My name is R. Geoffrey C. Bowman, Master is Education. I obtained my Master of Education from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a focus on curriculum and instruction: multicultural education. Additionally, I hold an advanced TEFL certificate, a United States Teaching License and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Education from North Carolina State University. 

I live on a beach city, its noisy during the day and quiet at night. The people here come from all over the world. In fact, most of my friends are all from a different country. Additionally, I enjoy reading books, researching new topics, discussing current events and trends in education with my old professors and friends from school, and talking about my research that I conducted in ESL, during my graduate days. I love my friends from school, we are best friends to this day!

I absolutely love teaching people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. I have a vast capability to teach exactly what you need with my training from over the past near decade of teaching internationally in over 25+ countries.

Although I am from Canada, I grew up in the United States on a tiny beach island called Topsail Island. I love gardening and cooking outside. I am always interested in a recipe, or any good book recommendations. My favorite authors vary from Maya Angelou to Isaac Babel & Malala Yousafzai because their words are so powerful and bring out emotions of the need for realistic awareness of culture and diversity through equity and equality. I play music for the majority of my spare time when I am in between writing your lessons and wondering how to make it more personal for you and your future. 

My goals in education are based on the philosophy that education leads to enlightenment and that through experiences we learn together and grow together by sharing our experiences through the spread of positivity and growth as a community united under one simple understanding of hope. I also believe that hope is the best way to believe in yourself and grow with me as a team. I have my students in my heart for life and I am with them every step of the way!
