My name is
Georgios Pazaridis and I come from Greece. I have a variety of qualifications
and have undertaken a range of different jobs. After passing exams in Maths,
Physics and Chemistry, I was successful in gaining a place to study Agriculture
at the University Of Applied Science Of Western Macedonia, Greece. After
undertaking some of the degree, I realized I was far more interested in
anthropocentric studies. With this in mind I left the University Of Applied
Science Of Western Macedonia and started working within the tourism industry.
During this time I undertook roles such as DJ, Barman and waiter. As soon as I
gained enough money, I was accepted by Lincoln University in the UK to study
Applied Social Sciences. I graduated in 2001 with a 2:1 in Applied Social
Sciences. Following this I joined the Greek Army for 16 months as a part of my
compulsory army service. Shortly after I returned to the UK to study MA Documentary
By Practice at Royal Holloway University of London. After obtaining a master I
worked as a camera operator, editor and director for Greek Media. Following the
economic crisis in Greece, I left this role to start teaching Maths to children
with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia and Autism. After undertaking this
role for a number of years, I undertook a MSc in Psychology at the University
of Essex to gain a greater understanding and knowledge concerning learning
difficulties in Education. Whilst looking for a job in the UK, utilizing this
knowledge, I undertook a TEFL qualification. Following this I was accepted to
teach English at a Chinese Kindergarten in Changsha, which I am currently
doing. I find this job very rewarding. I love working with children and I am
fully committed to the teaching profession.

I was also spending some time with the kids outside from teaching hours and I was enjoying it very much. I was utilising a variety of teaching approaches according to the different needs of my students and the age group that I was reffering to. I left the school due to visa expiration.
