Globish Academia is Thailand’s number one online startup English language school. The company was established in 2014. The first step was to introduce an elementary method of teaching which will effectively enhance every student’s English skills. Our CEO, Takarn Ananthothai or Troy, is a former president of the student organisation, AIESEC, which offer Thai students the opportunity to go abroad for talks, meetings, and other cross-cultural agendas. By examining this program, we came to the conclusion that Thai people carry a lot potential but fail when it comes to expressing their ideas in English. Studying English is a very common trait in Thailand and generally, they are fairly knowledgeable of the language. However, when it comes to speaking to people of other nationalities, fear and self-doubt override their ability to communicate effectively. 

We have identified that the problem comes from not fully understanding the foundation of spoken English and a lack of confidence. We’ve decided to tackle this problem with a fresh mindset because it could potentially improve our nation due to the fact that language creates opportunity.
