About Me
Introduction:
I have taught ESL in Korea for 8 years and have enjoyed every moment. I believe that working, as an English teacher for your school will give me even more of an appreciation for teaching English as a second language. By doing so, I may grow in the process by direct exposure to other nationalities. I have taught 2 years in the public school systems in Las Vegas, Nevada, teaching a wide range of subjects to 5th grade elementary, 8th grade middle school science and high school children. My experiences with grade school children reading strategies and assessments will be an immense help to any reading program. I have spent the last 5 years teaching as a Professor of English at the university level. I have also taught primary, middle and high school Korean children for special programs attached to my university work over the past 7 years. I have expertise in designing specific courses and materials for individual needs. I also taught business professional and students at a well know organization in Beijing, China. I have a total of 10 years teaching experience. I have taught Freshman English, English listening, beginner and advance writing, TOEIC test taking and Business English to students and professionals. I have TESOL/TEFL certificates in grammar and teaching with video. I worked at an English Instructor for Korean pilots at Korean Air in Seoul South Korea and co-developed their online English language video program. I have lots of experience using online and PPT’s as a medium to deliver high quality English language courses.
