I am a
recent graduate from the University of Washington. I have received a B.A. in
Sociology and I also completed a 160 hour TEFL course in Costa Rica from September 4
to September 28. I believe that my education, experience, skills, and career
goals provide an excellent match for this position and for your organizations
mission.
My
commitment to serving and helping the community led me to major in Sociology.
This allowed me to pursue my interest in cognitive development in people of all
ages.
Over the
four years, I have served as a volunteer for public schools in the King County
area while traveling abroad to learn more about the way other countries develop
social programs to improve the daily lives of people. I also have worked as an
assistant at Always Growing Childcare, focusing on strategies to promote the
social capital of low income families that use government services for
childcare.
