My Profile

Been a teacher for the past 11 years and it is my passion. I want to pursue my dreams as a teacher. I have been in online tutoring since the beginning of 2020 and I enjoy it thoroughly. I have lived and taught abroad for a few years in the U.A.E and Tianjin, China. I am well prepared for the difficulties that can arise when teaching students of different cultures and religions. I am a teacher with a deep appreciation for people. My experiences while teaching in South Africa, United Arab of Emirates and China has confirmed my decision to continue in teaching but in a more intensive and personal environment. I am comfortable teaching in a variety of environments and with students of different ages and abilities including special needs students.
Throughout my life I have been able to excel in many subject areas, and I am one who enjoys variety. I consider myself to be a well-rounded individual who likes a challenge. As a teacher I strive to provide a learning environment that will inspire and challenge students to become responsible people who carry with them a lifelong passion for learning. I have learned from personal experience and observation that the most meaningful learning takes place when students are motivated and are kept interested.
As a teacher my aim and objective is to motivate students and encourage them to expand their boundaries. I believe this can be achieved by giving students a voice in the learning process and inviting them to bring their own ideas and experiences to the table. I also believe in students to do better in every aspect of their life including their personal well-being if they are only kept motivated. I have excellent communication skills; I am dedicated, Analytical and Organized. I am self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined and reliable. I enjoy working with children thoroughly.
