As a collage graduate in early child development, with holding a California teaching credential, and masters degree in education, I believe I am a perfect candidate for an ESL teaching position. Since a young age, when I volunteered in my mother’s kindergarten classes to three years teaching experience in the California public schools, I have demonstrated a passion for educating students. As the years progressed and my desire to travel became stronger, I became increasingly interested in the child-rearing practices utilized in different western cultures, which lead to me to live abroad and do a 3 month teaching internship in Australia followed by year of working as an au pair for a two year old little boy.
I have not only received my B.A, and passed the national CBEST, CSET and RICA exam, but I currently hold a masters degree in education and a valid California teaching credential. Because of my high qualifications and interest in education, I think schools would very much benefit from me and my ability to relate with children or adults with my buoyant personality and strong charisma for teaching.
I feel that given my background in early childhood development, my passion for children, and my currant status in the teaching field, I am a perfect candidate for an ESL teaching position.
