I am a recent graduate from the M.A. in Linguistics programme at the University of Hong Kong. Before entering the M.A. programme, I first taught ESL at the Monkey Tree English Learning Center for one year, also in Hong Kong. While earning my B.A. in Linguistics from New York University I studied abroad in Accra, Ghana, where I studied Twi, a local language.
I enjoy living abroad a lot, but I would like to explore beautiful Italy and brush up on the Latin I studied for some years.
I have an interest in languages, studying Latin, Ancient Greek, Twi, and Cantonese - writing a dissertation on Waitauhua, an endangered dialect of Cantonese. Other hobbies include exploring urban neighborhoods, taking photographs, visiting museums, and enjoying nature.
