About Me
Introduction:
Hello!
I am a native English speaking educator seeking an online English teaching position. I hold a bachelor’s degree and have previously taught English to elementary, middle, and high school students in Korea from 2006-2008. I believe my teaching experience and passion for engagement make me an ideal candidate.
Apart from the typical curriculum, I like to focus a lot on things like pronunciation and natural flow of conversation. My goal is to always prepare the student so that they can speak English freely in public. As a Korean-American bilingual person myself, I believe that I hold more empathy for the students because I can personally relate to some of the difficulties that come up when learning a new language.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, and empathetic teacher who will make a positive contribution to the students and society as a whole.
