My Profile

I have 13+ years of international education experience I have experience teaching both, the national curriculum of Britain and Wales and the American curriculum. I have taught all subjects at the primary level. All of my teaching experience has been with ESL students. I use a student-centered teaching method that not only allows the students to be fully involved but also gives them the opportunity to have hands on and real life experiences. As well as teaching multiple subjects, I have gained experience in hosting clubs such as tutoring club, Book club, Culture Club (art) and ESL homework help club. When teaching 5^th grade I had the privilege of putting together the school’s first 5^th grade graduation.

In addition to my work experience, I received an Associate of Arts degree in 1993 as well as an Associate of Science degree in Legal Assisting in 1993. In 1995 I was awarded my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In May 2006 I received a TEFL certificate. I have partially completed my M.Ed from Framingham State College, Framingham, MA.

Outside of my education and work experiences, I enjoy writing, reading, traveling and spending quality time with my son and friends. My life experience along with my work experience will bring new ideas to your school. I would be a good fit as I get along well with coworkers and school staff as well as maintain a positive relationship with parents and students.
