Introduction:
Hello!
My
name is Katherine , and I teach ESL in the US.
I
have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and a TESOL certification.
I have taught beginner to advanced ESL, and provide private tutoring (online and in person). I am a native English speaker with knowledge relating to Western culture, and Western business culture.
I have experience in both academic and professional settings, and would be happy to share my knowledge with new students! I create fun, engaging lessons, while building students' confidence in their English abilities. I provide students with the skills to speak English properly, while having fun learning.

I teach intermediate and advanced level young adult ESL students in small classes at Greenville Literacy Association. Here are just a few of the things I do here: -Encourage students to speak and write effectively in English -Engage students with interactive activities involving PowerPoint, Word, and the internet -Increase students’ confidence in real-world English speaking scenarios -Develop new methods to teach students one-on-one via electronic communication -Increase students' knowledge of American business culture, specifically how to prepare for a professional job in a Western atmosphere
