About Me
Introduction:
I am currently based in Thailand as an ESL teacher at Nachuakpittayasan high school. My current duties include teaching English for Communication and Development (ECD), with a focus on listening and speaking, as well as conducting a range of activities with students to engage them in actively speaking English. Some of my administrative duties include the submission of daily lesson plans, daily attendance, setting and grading of assessments and tests for students.
Prior to this, I had been in the Banking/Financial Services sector for two and a half years, in which time I have gained significant experience as an ATM data analyst for the Standard Bank of South Africa. In this time I have extracted, analysed and reported on data pertaining to the operational and financial performance of the ATM network at the bank.
Prior to gaining employment in the banking sector, I have had experience lecturing and tutoring introductory level undergraduate courses in Physics at the University of KwaZulu Natal in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. During this time, I had also completed my MSc in Physics at the same institution, cum laude. I am currently working towards a PhD in Applied Mathematics, with a speciality in higher dimensional gravity.
