Introduction:

I've worked nearly 10 years in higher education / international education as a staff member at a private university in Hawaii. I graduated with my BA in International Studies, an MA in Diplomacy & Military Studies and am currently studying for my PhD in International Regional Cooperation. I've studied abroad in China, Morocco, and South Korea. I have a year of teaching experience (as a co-teacher and assistant teacher) at James Campbell High School in Hawaii and Soonchunhyang University in South Korea. I've worked with a variety of age groups from elementary to university level. I have been volunteering as a Judge for the Hawaii Council for the Humanities’ Hawaii History Day, grading exhibits and presentations for local high school students. I am also TESOL certified through UNI-Prep Institute. My down-to-earth personality, commitment to excellence, hard-working values, and adaptability allow me to strive forward in life while also being a good candidate for any English teaching position.
